Hello and Welcome to the Squirrel Reviews today we are going to be reviewing a popular arcade game known as rider. We will be reviewing its UI, its Gameplay, its Realism and it’s Customization to determine if it is worth your time.
Rider has probably one of the most basic UI of any game I have ever played. The rider home screen contains literally contains:
- A Play Button
- Your score
- Your world rank
- The option to watch videos for money
- The car select
- The level button
- The challenge display
- The ad at the bottom
In rider’s case simplicity is better but the amount of ads can be annoying on a smaller screens.
User Interface score: 4.5/5
Rider scores a 4.5/5 on User interface due to its cut to the point style.
Rider’s game play is rather simple when you are the ground hold the screen to speed up and when you are in the air hold the screen to flip. It is rather simple concept that is surprisingly addicting and expandable on. It allows you to set high scores and beat endless amounts of levels and Achievements
Game play Score: 5/5
Rider scores a 5/5 on Game play because of its simplicity and its amazing gameplay
I actually don’t have a lot to say about rider when it comes to Rider’s Physics. It has some solid physics in the game except when you get into the flipping element. You can only flip backwards, which makes so little sense. Another thing being that you can control your self in air. Those two factors only play a minor part in the scheme of things but are still a couple things to note in the game.
Realism Score: 3.5/5
Rider Score a 3.5 out of 5 because of its lack of realism in its flips.
Rider’s customization is probably one of the best I’ve seen in most games. There is a lot of things you can collect, they all range in color and in style and there are even different themes to pick from.
Rider scores a 5 out of 5 because of its amazing customization system.
